Hey Everyone, so I have never intentionally cleansed before and am setting aside a week for some cleansing. I am planning on doing the master cleanse, but have been doing a little research and getting a bit confused by all the conflicting advice out there to what is the healthiest way to cleanse. Basically, I want to be really gentle with my body during this cleanse and do it in the healthiest most cleansing way possible any basic advice? does anyone have opinions on the master cleanse?
Thanks for any advice,
Kristin

Re: First time cleansing: some questions
Mon, June 16, 2008 - 8:00 PMHmm.. it seems like you might need to use a colon cleanser. there are many options such as making your own P&B shakes or buying a commercial cleansing program. I suggest you read this page: www.colonzone.org/best-colo...eanser.php

Re: First time cleansing: some questions
Mon, June 16, 2008 - 10:27 PMKristin-The master cleanse is anything but gentle.
The first time you cleanse its really just about getting through it. My biggest suggestion is to ignore the self-promoters on this tribe, do not buy those harsh "detox in a box kits" and pick up a good book to get an idea.
For a quick one week cleanse you can try to eliminate all the things that you know are not good for you (alcohol, sugar, coffee, smoking etc.) and do a vegan diet without any wheat or corn. Focus on organic, whole foods and drink herbal teas.
This would be a (free), good start. -Good Luck
