Just to nip this off-topic issue before returning to Isagenix cleanse stories...

Madame, it sounds like you've had negative experiences with MLMs. Just like religion or politics, and many other things, there's nothing wrong with MLMs themselves -just unethical people who push it inappropriately on others. I grew up in an MLM household, and participate in a couple myself. Typically, people get into an MLM either for the high-quality products they offer &/or the opportunity to create financial freedom. Nothing wrong with that. It's natural for people to become enthusiastic when they have hope -and especially when they're already coming from a place of desperation. In such cases, people tend to develop "blinders". There *are* some unethical people out there who use all kinds of manipulation to coerce people into signing up, and then it's "wham, bam, thank you Ma'am". Those are the ones to look out for. However, there are still plenty of ethical, caring associates in such companies that truly help people live healthier lives and attain financial freedom.

Back to the topic...

I was introduced to Isagenix a little over 2 years ago. I didn't need to lose weight, but the concept of Nutritional Cleansing made perfect sense to me. So I went on the Maintenance program. I've only had positive experiences with Isagenix, but recently I decided to do the 9-day cleanse program just so I could better relate to people I refer to that particular program.

In the 9-day system, there are 2 cleanse days back to back and I found this to be a truly magnificent experience! I was more irritable than usual on my 2 pre-cleanse days, and had a shorter fuse. I was a little spacy on my 1st cleanse day, but I felt like a Zen Master on my 2nd! I felt more clear, focused, grounded, centered & energized than I had in a long time. I wasn't trying to lose weight. In fact, I'm trying to develop more lean muscle; however I lost 5 lbs in my first 4 days. I think that was primarily due to eliminating my sugar intake. I put the weight back on though in lean muscle through weight training and sticking to the shakes. I feel great, and I'm making double cleanse days a regular part of my lifestyle!

Have done various colon cleanses, Master Cleanse, etc. Finally bit the bullet and got the Isagenix 9-day cleanse... but then didn't do it -- just used the shakes and got a lot of exercise. Even so, I lost 20 pounds and felt fantastic!!! Maintained with the Health and Wellness package for five months.

Have since fallen off the wagon a bit (beer, chips, etc.)... Which is "pilot error", no fault of the program. (Kept the shakes up -- meal replacement -- throughout, however.) Have ordered 30-day and intend to do the 9-day out of that. And back in the saddle! It really does make a difference in terms of energy and outlook.
